The Kidde WFPX is a 10 year sealed-in lithium battery powered smoke alarm, suitable for installation in the bedroom.

The Kidde alarm features a voice alarm as well as the normal 85Db loud alarm, the voice warning clearly announces the detection of smoke. The alarm features optical sensor technology and has a sealed-in 10 year lithium battery that lasts the full life of the alarm and never needs replacing, making it convenient for installation and maintenance.

The Kidde alarm has a test button and LED that confirms the continual battery and alarm operation with an end of life warning. The alarm will chirp when the alarm has reached end of life and needs replacing.
