The BG Electrical Nexus Metal NBS50 is a brushed stainless steel switched 13A fused connection unit, manufactured by British General Electrical.

The NBS50 is a switched fused connection unit applicable for anywhere that requires a constantly installed appliance such as a fridge or a washing machine. With softly rounded corners, a versatile brushed stainless steel finish with matching switch and fuse cover and a depth of only 29mm, it has a sleek modern profile that will complement a wide range of interior decor. Its lightly lacquered surface reduces the impression of fingerprints and with no visible plastic surrounding the switch, it will continue to look clean and tidy even with repeated usage.

This fused connection unit can house one fuse up to 13A, and features 2 earth terminals as standard to allow for high integrity wiring connections.

The NBS50 can be easily retrofitted into an existing backbox (35mm minimum box depth required) and is supplied with colour-matched fixing screws, backed-out captive screws and fitting instructions to ensure an easy installation. It is fitted with an integrated moisture-controlling gasket, protecting the edges from condensation which allows the unit to be installed into recently plastered walls without the risk of the finish tarnishing.
